Cheryl Weber looks into the campaign, "Buying Sex Is Not a Sport" which launched during the 2010 Olympics by REED (Resist Exploitation, Embrace Dignity). It hopes to change society's view of paid sex into a negative one. She followed them into Vancouver's downtown eastside for a silent, non-violent protest at a strip club.

You're never going to stop men from buying sex from women, so you might as well make it a safe environment for both the john and the hooker.
