At Thornhill Baptist Church in Thornhill, Ontaro a community just north of Toronto staff member Gloria Stafford recognized the growing number of foreign caregivers and nannies in the congregation and decided to create a Caregivers Ministry. Most of the women (and some men) who attend the group are here through Canadas Federal Live-In Caregiver Program. They often live in their employers home and are far away from their families. The caregivers group allows them to connect and have with other caregivers in the surrounding community.
