Miraculous Recovery After a Diving Accident

Jennette and Ricardo Sanchez share their story on their experience with their son Josiah, after he had been in a diving accident.

Jennette dropped of Ricardo at the airport to head to the National Day of Prayer. When Jennette received a call that their son, Josiah, had a diving accident.

"I received a phone call from the house where Josiah was staying, and she just said, Jenette, it's not good."

By that point, Ricardo's plane had already left.

"They said you need to call your husband and prepare for the worst, he has a 1% chance for survival."

When Ricardo's plane landed, he opened his phone to a series of 911 emergency texts.

"My heart sank, here I am traveling winning people to Jesus and my family is going through hell."

"I remember landing at the airport, and just falling on my knees, yelling at God."

After the accident, Jennette and Ricardo had to spend a bit of time at the hospital and prepare for a long recovery period ahead.

"When life throws something your way when you think you've got it under control, and you think you are doing things right, the enemy wants to creep in and limit you and the next step you take" tells Jennette.

Josiah has since made a full recovery that is nothing short of a miracle.

"Every single doctor said, he is nothing but a complete miracle, other than the scars from the surgery, you would never have known that anything had happened."

"Our son is alive and loves Jesus and loves his parents."
