Petr Jasek is a Czech Christian who has been working with Voice of the Martyrs (VOM) as the Africa Regional Director for the past 16 years. Petr was sentenced to life in prison in Sudan for treason and espionage while documenting Christian persecution. Petr was moved to five different prisons over 445 days, each one more dangerous than the last. In  February 2017 Petr was released from prison following a pardon issued by the Sudanese president.
